̽»¨ÉçÇø University’s School of Exercise Science & Sport equips students with the knowledge and skills necessary to make an impact in a rapidly evolving field. Performance Learning opportunities that combine classroom theory with hands-on experiences are available across all programs. Students hone their skills working with ̽»¨ÉçÇøâ€™s NCAA DIII athletic teams, as well as area schools; hospitals; sport, recreation and athletic organizations; and community-based health and wellness facilities.

      Athletic Training

      ̽»¨ÉçÇø's Master of Science in Athletic Training program provides students with the pathway to a rewarding career at the intersection of sports and healthcare. There are two routes for admission into the MSAT program: Early Entry and Post-Baccalaureate.

      Exercise Science

      This program prepares students both for graduate studies and careers in clinical, corporate, commercial, community, and private sector exercise and wellness settings. Aligned with Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) standards, students earn national certifications in personal training and strength and conditioning coaching.
    • Sport & Recreation Management

      Physical Education

      The Physical Education major prepares students for the Illinois teaching license for K-12 classrooms. This program is accredited by the Illinois Board of Education. Additional certifications in health and driver education are available.
